v i (nada) To emit a cracked tone or sound--a cracked vessel &c. 2 (Allusively to the sound which a cracked thing emits.) To be cracked; to have a flaw. 3 To be divulged and blabbed abroad. 4 To be addicted to; to pursue after devotedly; to be engrossed and infatuated by. 5 To become infamously notorious; to become the subject of popular talk (esp. for adulterous or lewd doings). 6 (To acquire celebrity or renown for.) It is said angrily, and with ironical implication, of one whom the speaker chooses to view as the author or instrument, through some act however indifferent or innocent, of a loss, damage, or injury that is arisen. Ex. gai hatapanhyasa lavali hoti pana murkha nadavala mhanuna dudha deinasi jhali.
