Meaning of 'antyaksari'
f (antya The last, aksara A letter.) A practice among students (esp. during the anadhyaya or non-reading days). Reciting severally the Shlokas or stanzas, which have been studied and committed to memory, by culling out that of which the initial letter is the same with the final letter of the stanza last recited. Applied also to the pastime of responsive citing or impromptu constructing of Shlokas commencing with the closing letter of the last Shloka uttered. Diversions somewhat answering to Capping of verses.
